Bodmin Netball Club hosted a fun day for their Juniors on Saturday 22nd April.

"The day started with the U12 in Truro playing some incredible netball and securing 2nd place in Division 1," says Sarah, the Junior Manager. "Very quick change then onto the Dragon Leisure centre where we hosted our Intra Club tournament. We combined our U16, U14 and U12 into 7 teams and they headed it out in a tournament though the afternoon!

It was the most fantastic afternoon, seeing the U16s playing alongside our tiny U12s, the U14s delve into different positions whilst executing some particularly amazing netball! Each one of our 54 Juniors showed skills, encouragement to the younger players and also showed wonderful team ethics.

Another quick change then onto our awards and end of season party! All our juniors, parents and siblings came along to celebrate a wonderful season. Our U14 securing top of the league in Division 2, U12 securing 2nd place in Division 1. We celebrated individual personal achievements throughout the ages, talked about development and steps we will be taking next year to keep pushing the club forward!

We now will have a small rest before taking 30 girls on tour in June!  It has been a fantastic season with Bodmin Netball Juniors, I personally cannot wait to see what next season brings!"
